tchuyev
Hi, I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 on an Asustek M2NPV-VM (nForce 430 and GeForce 6150), but the LAN ctrl isn't working properly. Mac OS X can identify the network card from the GUI but displays 'no wire connected', which is obviously not the case! In other words, it can identify the card during bootup but disables it immediately at the h/w level when the 'forcedeth' driver is being loaded: the only method to 'recover' the LAN at the h/w level is to switch off the PC completely. Otherwise, the led won't switch back on again, how weird !!! I've tried 2 different mobo (identical but with different BIOS versions), but still no luck :-(( Should I use the 'forcedeth' kext? If not, which one please? Thanks for your help... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102050-kalyway-1052-asus-m2npv-vm-lan-issue/ Share on other sites
rameso
I am confronted with quite the same problem with you, too. The driver is installed, and hardware is recognized. Is there compatibility of the hub? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102050-kalyway-1052-asus-m2npv-vm-lan-issue/#findComment-791258 Share on other sites
