Hello,

I have made a freenas configuration with AFP volumes available to Leopard 10.5.2.

I can connect to the shares. now something strange occurs.

When i make a new folder when first the share is mounted. The new folder is accepted, but when i put a file in it

it is refused. Then i make a new folder local on my leopard machine and put a file in it and transfer it to the Freenas

applshare then it is accepted. The same happens when i try to backup with time machine to that freenas afp volume.

Timeachine starts and i see that it makes a folder but when the backup starts writing it is refused. Read and Write flags

are set on that volume. I did not make a test to transfer the time machine backup made on a external usb harddisk to the freenas appleShare AFP volume. I assume that time machine will work at that moment. Has somebody else the same experience with Freenas AFP volumes. Is it a bug in Freenas. I use the latest freenas version.

Looking forward after your reactions.
