All right, no need to swear.

You need the original Windows XP/Vista DVD to fix the "unable to boot to windows" problem.

After booting from the Windows install DVD, go to the command prompt and launch diskpart:

C:\>DISKPART

It will say something similar to this:

Microsoft DiskPart version 6.0.6000
Copyright (c) 1999-2007 Microsoft Corporation.
On computer: WIZKIDWEB

DISKPART>

If you see that, begin by typing:

list disk

You will then see something like this:

Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt
-------- ---------- ------- ------- --- ---
Disk 0	Online 112 GB 0 B

Then type the following. Select the disk # that windows is located on:

select disk 0

It will say:

Disk 0 is now the selected disk.

Then type:

list part

This will list all of the partitions in the disk like this:

Partition ### Type Size Offset
------------- ---------------- ------- -------
Partition 1	Primary 97 GB	32 KB
  Partition 2	Primary 13 GB	97 GB

You now have to select the partition that Windows is located on. On my computer it is Partition 1, so I would say:

select part 1

It would then say:

Partition 1 is now the selected partition.

Then, you need to set it as an active partition. To do this, simply type:

active

Hope this helps.

If this is successful, you will be able to log into windows. Note that this only works if you have a bootloader working (listing the OS's on your system on boot up). If not, I don't know how else I could help you.

Now that should fix your bootup problem, but you asked some other things. Here are my answers:

  • I don't know how to fix your problem with booting from the DVD, so you'll need to ask someone else.
  • I didn't look up your specs, but if you have an Intel internet card you won't be able to use the internet unless you don't have a WEP-enabled internet. You will then need to install an iwidarwin driver. If that doesn't work, I don't know how else to help you there.
  • If you have a USB sound device that should work.
  • If you're lucky you will have Windows working, but probably not sound, internet, etc.
