sednivo Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Hi guys, I have Compaq nc6000 notebook, after installation of OS X 10.4.8 Wi-Fi is not working. The thread "nc6000 users unite, what is working on your nc6000?" is not available so I am reasking the question. From other threads I've got that I should add my vendor/device id to file IO80211Family.kext/.../AirPortAtheros5424.kext/Contents/Info.plist After doing this in the System Preferences => Network I have the item "AirPort" but this item is disabled. My wireless device is HP WLAN 802.11 a/b/g W500.
