Enrico1985
Hardware specs: CPU: Pentium 4 3.00GHz HT HD: Maxtor 6Y080M0 SATA 80GB Audio: SoundMAX Integrated (Intel 97 ACH) --> Display: ATI Radeon X300 SE (PCIe) Mac OS X Version: Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1 My problem is that I can't get QE/CI to work. System Profiler says Core Image is "Software" and Quartz Extreme is "Not supported" (I enabled QuartzGL using the plist for WindowServer, but it seems rather useless). I tried using the Leopard 9A321 KEXTs, and the result is that the screen remains locked to the boot messages (or the Apple logo) with just the cursor shown I tried using the JaS 10.4.7 KEXTs and the system locks I also installed Callisto (ZD8000): completely useless Am I missing something or this just is not possible? Thanks!

Thanks! It seems to be a bust. It really wasn't great in Tiger but doesn't work in Leopard.
Enrico1985
no hope even if I upgrade to 10.5.2 and then install the Apple Graphics Update?
GimmeRed
no hope even if I upgrade to 10.5.2 and then install the Apple Graphics Update? That shouldn't be a big suprise I would imagine that Apple is more focused on it's paying customers then those of us that are stealing it's OS. Enrico1985
I agree! (but I am still gonna try...) I can change the resolution now (which I do not really need...) but still no QE/CI this seems a mission impossible unfortunately
rollex
How did you mange to be able to change the resolution. I have been searching for some time and can't find any way. I am using kalyway 10.5.3 along with a Radeon x300 series card. I was trying to get Callisto drivers but can't find any because the distro site is not working for me. jiatai
to rollex, sudo nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist, add add the following: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1400x1050x32</string> put them before: <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </plist> it will change the resolution of the screen
