rt73 based USB Wifi doesn't work with sleep-enabled kernel

Hi.

I've updated my installation with the kernel that has the patches to enable it to sleep properley.

The only problem is that now my USB Wifi dongle doesn't work. The drivers worked fine in the original kernel (i think it was the vanilla kernel 10.5.1 from kalyway dvd), but after the update the program can't find the device.

 

I successfully restored my old kernel but now I cant sleep again.

So does anyone know how to get it to work with the new kernel?
