First, the obligatory system info:

Dell GX620 minitower, P4-630, Intel 945G chipset. XP installed on internal SATA drive, created one 125G partition on a external 250G USB drive for OSX. Installed 10.4.3 8f1111 native to the USB drive (unpatched except the oah files), applied Maxxuss patch/update to 8f1111g. Everything works fine except the onboard Broadcom 5751 nic & the sound. Those are for later ;-)

Installed Debian linux into the free space on the USB drive, installed GRUB in the MBR on the SATA drive. XP & Debian are booting just fine, but if you try to boot OSX, you get the dreaded "You need to restart your computer..." message almost imediately after the grey screen appears. So, I restarted, hit F8 to bring up the boot menu, and booted with -v to see where it's hanging, and it boots fine... Tried it a few times, boots fine w/-v, won't boot without it. Tried repairing disk permissions, no luck there...

Any ideas?

Peace
