HeldDown
Hey all, I'm trying to patch the p5kr bios onto my p5k (As said is required in the hcl) and I cannot get it for the life of me. I have tried multiple versions of AFUDOS and 2 different bios roms, both with original names and renamed to "ASUS.rom" and afudos just don't work. I constantly get the error "ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing bios ROMID." Using /nr should stop it from checking this, but it doesn't. My syntax of "afudos /iASUS.rom /nr" returns me nothing but an echo of the syntax instructions. /pbnc in place of /nr will give me the ROMID error. There is absolutely no combination of p b n r or c, placed before or after the file name, that results in anything except syntax instructions of a ROM ID error. PLEASE, someone help - this is driving me CRAZY and I need to fix it ASAP. skavenger0816
Just one question: Why you try this? If you want install Leo on ASUS P5K - try iDeneb 10.5.5. All works fine with iDeneb 10.5.5 except LAN - therefore i use a cheap Realtek RTL8139 PCI-Card. Can you explain, why you want to patch your BIOS to an unsupported version?
