crankshaft
Been running 10.51 EFI / Vanilla for about 6 months, it's been very stable so resisted updating to 10.52, although I did update my other Media Player Box. Today I decided I would do it, upgrade was successful including graphics update, but now when I run the system profiler / hardware (top of the tree) I get: There was an error while gathering this information. I only backed up & over-wrote about half a dozen kexts that I knew for certain were non-standard. I still have the original 10.51 (care of super duper) and it reports the hardware correctly at the top of the tree prior to the upgrade. I have the latest applesmbios c/o netlas (March 08), so I guess what I need to know is what other kext am I missing to make the top "Hardware" item display correctly as it did in 10.51 ? crankshaft
Ok, Solved, after comparing 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 extensions, somehow applesmbios was not updated on 10.5.2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101448-about-hardware-1051-1052/#findComment-723812 Share on other sites
