adammw
Hi. I'm using a Dell XPS M1210 (with Intel Centrino Duo, but other Dell model hacks should probably work), and i've got my network, audio, boot device and even USB wifi to work so far, but I am still unable to find a way to show the battery icon and get Mac OS X to detect my power settings, etc. I've tried replacing the /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/PowerManagement.bundle from at least two different places that say that it should enable this, but it hasn't worked. Does anyone have any help they can give me? Thanks
fassl
look if u have the /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleACPIPowerSource.kext if so, edit: <key>com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform</key> <string>1.2.1</string> in the ...../AppleACPIPowerSource.kext/Contents/Info.plist to match the version of your ../AppleACPIPlatform.kext btw... theres a thread for this in the genius bar
