Hey guys. I've searched around a lot and tried to find a solution to my problem before posting, but now, I'm forced to do so. So here's the dealio.

I've tried booting both Kalyway 10.5.2 and iATKOS v1.0 r2 and neither of them have worked, either from my IDE DVD drive (Sony Optiarc) or my SATA DVD drive (Lite-On 20x). I've tried all of the combinations of putting the JMicron controller in IDE/AHCI and also putting my SATA controller in AHCI and neither have worked. When I try and boot from my IDE drive, I get the classic /com.apple.Boot.plist error not found and when I boot from my SATA drive, it just sits there blinking for 30 seconds, until it finally gives up and boots into Vista. However, ONE time, I did manage to actually boot and load up from my IDE drive, but it got stuck on the SAM Multimedia error loop.

I'm guessing that my problem could be the DVDs that I'm burning to and my DVD drive(s) just aren't reading it correctly. I've also tried numerous commands by pressing F8 when I get the /com.apple.Boot.plist error, such as -x, -s, rd=disk0s1 and none of them have worked.

Here's my system specs:

Asus P5K-E Wifi/AP P35 chipset

Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 1.8GHz overclocked to 2.9GHz

MSI Radeon HD3870 512MB PCI-Express

4GB of DDR2 RAM (2GB Crucial/2GB OCZ)

(SATA) WD 160GB primary OS drive (Vista Home Premium 64-bit installed)

(SATA) Seagate 400GB secondary media drive

(SATA) Lite-On 20x DVD-R/RW

(IDE) Sony Optiarc 16x DVD-R/RW

Please help me out as I'd really like to get this working soon! I am thinking, since I've tried just about everything, of "burning" the ISO onto my external hard drive, but I'd have to do that in OSX right? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
