I just want to make sure that my Processor, Video Card, Motherboard, all the important things, will work. Also, I'm not 100% sure if the power supply is going to stay that way (I think I need a more powerful one), but that shouldn't matter. I'm going off to do some hardcore researching, but I'd appreciate if people could point out anything I might have issues with or need to change. Also, I was curious. If I have Windows XP 64bit and OSX86 installed, would I be able to use Parallels with my installation of XP. Could I do it by using Leopard's built-in Bootcamp, because I know Parallels can see bootcamp drives. lordmozilla
PSU will be fine on that mate, i'm running a 620W on a dual quad core xeon build... with a 8600GT and 8 FB-DIMM's... depending how highend you go for your gfx card, you'll be fine. You might run into some trouble with a 9800GX2, but you should be fine even with a 9800GTX. check google for the power supply calculator there is a really good one here: http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101310-my-pc-specs-not-purchased-yet-what-should-ido-i-need-to-change/#findComment-723519 Share on other sites
