dorkbydesign. Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 Hello! Here's a guide on how to get JaS on a Dell Inspiron 1501! There are two ways to do this... My way and the way for people with one computer. Here are the things you need.... 1. JaS 10.4.8 Tiger - Burn the DVD 2. Another computer. Does not have to be AMD. Does have to be able to read the SATA drive. 3. A lot of guts Here are the steps..... 1. Connect the SATA plugs to your other computer's mainboard. 2. Boot from the JaS DVD. Do the standard procedures. 3. When it comes to love, there is only one way! 4. When there is a option at the bottom of the screen the says "Customise" click it. 5. Select the AMD option from the list above. 6. Wait for it to install. 7. While it is rebooting, turn the computer off then move the Hard Drive over to the Inspiron. 8. Register and LaDeDa 9.
