Kernel Panics with MacTheRipper

For some reason I keep getting Kernel Panics while ripping dvds using MacTheRipper. I've tried... five dvds and gotten five kernel panics.

 

I was running 4GB of ram but heard that 4GB (2x2) can cause some crashes on some Gigabyte mobos so I took out one stick to run 2GB. I tried ripping another DVD and instead of a panic, MTR just crashed and I got this from the crash log:

This is really frustrating as I built my hackintosh for the purpose of a Media Center with hundreds of ripped DVDs. I'd really appreciate your help with this.
