I said to myself that I wouldn't post about my issues because I probably haven't searched enough, but I think I have and I've found no solution so far. =[

I'm trying to install Leopard on my HP Pavillion dv9000 notebook and it seems to be impossible for me.

Specs:

Model: HP Pavillion dv9417cl

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 mobile technology TK-53 / 1.7 GHz

RAM: 2 GB

Hard Drive: 160 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm

Video: NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150

Mobo: Quanta 309B

Optical Drive: Mat{censored}a DVD-RAM UJ 851S ATA Device

Tried two types of ISOs so far;

- Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd

- Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI-Rev2

Both give me the '...boot.plist' not found error when booting from my CD drive. I'm pretty positive it isn't a burning issue because I burned the ISO in the slowest option possible (Alcohol 120%). Pressing F8 returns me to the "..boot/plist" not found screen so I can't do anything 'cept restart and come back to look at forums.

I am currently running Windows Vista (Home Premium). Would that have anything to do with the errors? Which ISO would best suit me?

Well, if anyone could assist me (or trade their Intel notebook for mine ;D) I'll be extremely gratetful. :)

(Or if anyone else is facing the same dilemma, let's sit here and sigh together XD)
