Ford
I got a dual install, OSx86 and XP. When I boot osx86 the xp partition (NTFS) is automaticly mounted, altough it is read only. But then spotlight is extremly slow. When I unmount the XP partition (in Disk Utility, or drag it into the trash) the spotlight utility gets speeded up to its normal speed. I tried to exclude the XP partition in spotlight from being searched, but that doesn't work. I can exclude folders on the osx partition, but not from the xp partition (and excluding the whole partion doesn't work either). So I tried to automaticly unmount the xp partition at startup, or even beter, prevent it from being mounted. But i can't find an solution. Tried automator to eject the partition, but that doesn't work. Anyone got a clue how to prevent an partition being mounted, or how to exlude it in spotlight?
