For $510, Psystar claims to offer: 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Processor 2GB of DDR2 667 memory 20x DVD+/-R SATA drive that is Lightscribe-capable 4 rear USB Ports GeForce 8600GT 256MB The best match I've been able to come up with out of parts that I'm pretty sure are OS X86 compatible is: ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX Intel $169.99 Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Allendale 2.2GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core $124.99 Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop $19.99 X 2 = $39.98 BIOSTAR V8602GT51 GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI $74.99 Maxtor DiamondMax 21 STM3250310AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s $54.99 SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S203B - OEM $29.99 Linkworld 533-54-c2228FU Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $29.99 This comes to $524.92, which is a bit more than the Open Computer, so surely I can do better. The motherboard is probably the only place to save money here, so are there any suggestions for anything that will work OOB with built in WiFi to bring this below the price of the Open Computer? That's still up for debate, they actually claim to have started shipping today. Anyway, can somebody name a mother board for under $100 with WiFi that will work fine out of the box? I'm having a hard time with the wiki trying to figure out what "just works", and I'd prefer not to have to go look up a price for every single one.
