berserk1 Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 I am trying to install os X 10.4 tiger on a fujitsu esprimo notebook, it cannot use a SiS hd controller M671/668 : AppleGenericPCATADriver CMD 0x1f0, CTR 0x3f4, IRQ 14 unable to attach hardware; hal status 13 it does detect the dvd drive which is not SATA it seems to be IDE is it possible from the root terminal to make it mount the correct driver for SiS SATA hd controller and be able to detect the hd ? I have a Fujitsu Esprimo laptop too and have the same problem with OSX not detecting the hard drive. If you manage to make it work please tell me how. Thanks. I downloaded iDeneb 10.5.5 and i can install on Fujitsu Esprimo v5535, but after the first reboot i cannot continue the setup because on the trasfer from other mac menu step back. Any idea? I can finished the setup on FSC esprimo 5535, I put the hd into a desktop PC the setup was successful, but I have some network driver problem.
