aaass
I have been searching for any answer to this problem for a number of days but can't seem to find one. These errors seem to be few and far between for most users, though there was one or two instances of it being reported without answer in some threads. First off, specs: DFI NF4-DAGF motherboard AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.1 GHz 2 GB RAM 300 GB HDD (SATA) 80 GB HDD (PATA) Sony DRU-810A DVD-RW drive Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT (256 MB RAM) PS/2 mouse PS/2 keyboard First, I tried the Zephyroth release. Made it through the install fine, was able to open disk utilities to mount/erase the drive and format it. I customized the install only by removing the language translations and adding 3rd party drivers, along with picking the GUID option. Install is fine until about 7 minutes left and I get the "Unable to validate the Javatools package" error. So I try the Kalyway release. Essentially the same story here. Exact same time left on the install, exact same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will answer as many questions as I can if you need anything clarified Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100406-javatools-validation-error/ Share on other sites

macbrush
I remember once I had an issue with my Lite-On DVD burner (later I discovered that if you've ever used them vertically, you're in great risk of needing a new drive), and only after more than 5 attempts then I got a good burn. aaass
I know it's not a problem with the burns. I burnt the discs at 2.4x for both Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100406-javatools-validation-error/#findComment-717796 Share on other sites
