hello

 

I have a dvd bootable of mac os X86 by darwin but I don't know the versie (if thinkit's Mac OS X x86 (Marklar-Tiger.iso) 10.4.1

when I boot my pc with this dvd mac OS beguin installation but don't find any disk or partition to install it

 

I think I must create an partition but I don't know how

 

 

I forget to say that I use a serial ata hard disk maybe it's for that

 

can anyone help me please

It could very well be the fact that you are using SATA. Please give more specs (cpu, mobo, chipset, etc)

Also check this out in the Wiki. :P (note there is no support for SATA on nForce chipsets)

disk : serial ata hitachi 160go

Your motherboard uses a nForce4 chipset (see here), so it will never recognize the SATA in OS X... :(

You can add a PATA IDE drive, and it should recognize that just fine. :o

yeah, my board supports everything but the onboard NIC. I just added a cheap compatible PCI NIC that I had lying around. I still use the onboard NIC in XP, not that I have booted to it in several weeks :o
