neba
I've used the search but my problem isn't easily search-able. The computer I am attempting this on is a MSI Mega 651 Pentium 4 system with the SiS 651 chipset and I installed a nVidia FX5200 128MB AGP card. So I have the iAtkos v1.0ir2 (EqUaTe Patched) install DVD. It boots into the installer just fine, I partition it using Disk Utility, name it Leopard, make sure the drive is set to MBR. Customize, choose my packages: iATKOS v1.0i Main System Darwin Boot Loader Darwin EFI SSE2 SSE3 kernel Remove CPUPowerManagement driver Remove Thermal kexts NVinject 128MB AppleSMBIOS.kext netkas It goes though the install with no errors, I reboot and remove the DVD. Darwin loads, I let the timer go down, and it gives me the "hd(0,1) Leopard" option, and the "boot:" prompt. I hit enter and nothing happens. None of the options, -v -x -f -s, change the result at all. It just stays at the Darwin bootloader prompt with "hd(0,1) Leopard" highlighted. Can anyone give my any insight on this problem? EDIT://I'm reinstalling right now without the EFI package, fingers crossed.
