Hi!

I'm trying to install 10.5.1 at a Dell Inspiron 6400 (Notebook) with VMWare. I created VMs ("FreeBSD" and "Other") and tried to install from the ISO-File.

After a short time and many lines, VMWare stops with this error-msg: "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at his point."

Restart and new install-process gives the same msg.

The last lines before the installation crashed:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0036DAC7): "Process 1 exec of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 5\n"@/Volumes/disk1s2/leo_xnu/xnu-1228/bsd/kern/kern_exec.c:2884

Debugger called: <panic>

Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Adress (4 potential args on stack)

7 lines of numbers...

Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0

BSD process name corresponding to current thread: init

Mac OS version:

Not yet set

Kernel version:

Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50:43 SCT 2007; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.2~1/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386

If you need more information, I'll give you all what you need... But pleeeeeeeeeease help :)
