identity Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 hi people this is for those who didnt get success with the guide http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=87589.... i found out a way with the help of tiger .... download amd test form http://rs1.rapidshare.com/files/82014094/i..._AMD__Test1.zip marvins amd utility from http://www.mediafire.com/?avncvt42nbk ppf-o-matic form http://rapidshare.com/files/91896581/pdx-pmc30.zip.html first patch the dvd with amd test using ppfmaster or ppf-o-matic.... (note:only the ppf file is utilized from amd test other files are not requred anywhere) installation 1)costumize the installation and remove thermal and powermanagement kexts and tick any driver for your computer 2)after installation goto to tiger and use marvins amd utility to patch all the binaries in the volume in which leopard is installed........ 3)add any required driver ..... 4)you can use the efi 8 emulation if u want...(not tested) installation guide available in forum.... 5)you can update to 10.5.2 ...the leopard amd update can be found in any torrent site..... or manually convert the update from apple website using marvin's amd utility.... reply plz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100268-iatkos-10i-on-amd-easy-install-with-help-of-tiger/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
habib Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 so, it is true. but it will work only with PATA drives. and for ppl with nforce chipsets that have SATA devices there's anothe test - test2 ppf. it can be found here - http://rapidshare.com/files/90232053/iATKO..._Test2.zip.html the installation is the same as in test1.
