Kalyway 10.5.2 problems before install

I burned Kalyway 10.5.2 ISO onto a DVD at 1x and it boots at startup loading that Matrix styled page with all the loading info.

It stops at

Kernel Version :

Darwin Vanilla 9.2.0 made by ToH (I don't have a camera to take a picture of it)

 

However it freezes at this point and doesn't go forward. My DVD is still running since i can hear it spinning but nothing happens. Also my DVD makes these sort of crack sounds when it gets to this part but everything before it loads fine.

 

I will try and put a picture of it on here if i can.
