  1. I have a retail copy of OSX 10.6 and I am trying to install Snow Leopard on my HP ProLiant ML110 G5. I have used the Boot-132SL found via the link to boot into Chameleon and then swap the boot-132 CD for the Snow Leopard DVD but encounter the following error message: "Still waiting for root device" This message continues endlessy until the point where i have to manually restart the machine. I have tried the following commands to no avail: -v -v -x -v -x platform=x86pc / acpi The specifications of my machine are as follows: Processor: 2.33ghz Intel Xeon (3065) dual core - Conroe model aka Intel Core 2 Duo Chipset: Intel 3200 Memory: 4GB buffered RAM Hard disk: 250GB SATA DVD: DVD-RW DL SATA drive Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS (PCI-E) Sound: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (PCI-E) Full specifications of the machine can be found via this HP ProLiant ML110 G5 link Can someone please help me, I am a completely newbie and I havent got my head round all these kexts and kernels etc... Please help.
  2. Hi splonk, I too have a HP ProLiant ML110 G5 (3065) machine and would like to install Leopard or even Snow leopard on this box. Could you please let me know if your tutorial is now ready to share. By the way, when I acquired this machine I upgraded the RAM to 4GB and installed the following graphics and sound cards: - NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (256MB graphics memory) - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Please let me know if this is acceptable hardware to run Leopard.
