I don't know, how to attach zipfile here... https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7QTO0P9T3dsc24wSG8tTEdCYVU&usp=sharing -here is all tables from Clover byF4 Here IOReg with USB3.0 is "ON" in BIOS and with your X79USBXHCIPCI.kext from this topic. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7QTO0P9T3dsbFozc2ZzNTFiYTg/view?usp=sharing
anerik70 114 Posted October 14, 2015 I have the same board. Could you upload your DSDT please? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ydexqnobj37s6av/DSDT.aml?dl=0
DrDrumm 10 Posted October 15, 2015 Thank you so much! So, after I put it in Clover and tried to boot, I got an ACPI kernel panic. Opening the DSDT in MacIASL and compiling, I got a lot of warnings. What I finaly Did was copy your XHCI area and pasting it in mine, replacing what was the UCHI area. This + the x79 kexts you uploaded, got me to be able to use all USB ports including USB 3. However, USB is registring as 480 mgbs, so I'm guessing there's some more work to get it to work at USB 3 speed. Any thoughts? https://www.dropbox.com/s/px7i3gi49htenor/DSDT.aml?dl=0 Thank you for your help Update: After further testing (Blackmagic Disk Speed Test), It looks like it's working as it should! Feel free to use the DSDT.

Luke//power 17 Posted October 25, 2015 What did you patch in the binary? or did you only patch the .plist? Just curious, so that future edits can be made to AppleUSBXHCIPCI
stinga11 172 Posted October 25, 2015 What did you patch in the binary? or did you only patch the .plist? Just curious, so that future edits can be made to AppleUSBXHCIPCI I made a dummy file using the pikeralpha method and then I edited the info plist. Its not necesary edit in the future, this version should works on all versions of El Capitan. 1
DrDrumm 10 Posted November 6, 2015 Hey Stinga, All is working well for me (even with MacPro5,1!), but I can't get front USB to work. Have you managed to get it working? Update: Got it to work (with MacPro6,1) by modifying X79USBEHCIPCI.kext and matching the DSDT with EHC1. Basically, under MacPro6,1, I deleted EHC2, which doesn't exist in the DSDT anyway and added 2 more ports to EHC1. https://www.dropbox.com/s/q2l7movgpu4y8jv/DSDT%2BX79USBEHCIPCI.zip?dl=0 1
