Uncle_Pinny Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Wondering if anyone else is having problems with either Parallels or VMware Fusion. I can install XP (sometimes) but get kernel panics when trying to use them/perform SP2 updates. The panics especially happen when copying files between the mac and the emulated pc. Someone on another thread has mentioned it may be something to do with the fact I have 4gb ram/mobo with JMicron ports. I've disabled JMicron in the BIOS - yet to delete the JMicron.kext though. Anyone with any experience with this problem. Is there something that springs to mind which could be causing thing. System stability is fantastic and I haven't had a problem yet EXCEPT for when trying to use Parallels or VMware Fusion which is when the panics come.... ?
