cmdshft Posted November 4, 2007 Share Posted November 4, 2007 I have AC97 VIA 8233/8235/8237/8251 on my mainboard, and I used the driver found here and I am still having audio issues. The sound only comes out of one speaker loudly and the other very softly, and changing the settings doesn't work. I installed the kext in the post i linked to, but I encountered no errors and rebooted with -f as well, and the problem persists. Anyone have a fix for this? EDIT: Nevermind, a fellow IRC pal found that the specific chipset needs the following attached driver to function properly. This works in Leo and confirmed by me and the party who sent me it.
