silver9172
I have just installed OSX 10.4.6 on my PC. The native resolution seems to be 1280x768. I have tried to type in -x"Graphics Mode"="1280x1024" at tthe boot but no luck. I also can't find any drivers for it. Any one know what I need to do to get my resolution to 1280x1024. I looked under hcl to but had no luck. Thanks

Thanks I think you need to add the 'colour depth' as an additional factor before the resolution setting will work: Try this: "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" at the boot prompt (with or without -x, -v etc). I also have ATI 9600 graphics card with no driver, and am still looking for one. Until then, I need to do as above to get the 1280x1024 resolution. Lactobacillus P
If you install JaS 10.4.8 you'll be set. Resolution changing, QE and CI. Mouselocator and empty locator graphic takes care of the mouse tearing that some people experience. Some others need a specific callisto framebuffer patch in order to turn on res-changing.
