Need Info On partition.

I have downloaded BootCamp v1.4 and im running on my MBP 2.2ghz. I would like to know if i could place the WindowsXp on my partition that i have set out for it. because currently im having four partitions and one is dedicated to running WindowsXp. When I started to install the Xp. it said i could not install the XP unless I deleted the free space. i would assume that it would be the partitioned and free spaces in my harddrive. And how do i burn the Mac Windows Driver through bootcamp assistant? is it before or after the WindowsXp installation? because i tried to run it before installing Xp but this popped out;
