Garageband freezes my system ("You must restart your computer") iDVD closes after launching iMovie appears to work I also have Final Cut Studio 2 installed (installed ALL apps/templates/samples/etc) and everything works (though I haven't tested it extensively yet). It appears that today Apple released an update to iDVD which i obtained from software update that seems to have actually taken care of my crashing issues. so far not a single crash!
