Updated to 10.4.10 from a working installation of Uphuck 10.4.9 1.3 DVD.
I followed this guide: http://forum.osxx86....p?p=10235#10235

I'm using Loginwindow.app from 10.4.9 but System Profiler still crashes when opened.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi,

Had the same issue,

Replaced the /System/Library/SystemProfiler/SPPlatformReporter.spreporter with the 10.4.9 one from the DVD.

Here's an ProfilerPatch installer for 10.4.10, includes the 10.4.10 files with SPplatform..... fix/replacement + printer and font/.

Thanks all. The ProfilerPatch posted by MIchael fixed my issue!!!!...and the kernel thread from "myki" got me the kernel files I needed for later...perfect!
