Reanimation_LP
Basically what happens is it loads, asks you to select the language, and then the screen goes black, it does a crashdump and turns off the VM. I've tried it as an actual disc, and the ISO image. I'm trying to install it to a 30GB hard disk drive by using the option in VMWare. Its' set for Independant-Persistant. Floppy, Parallel, and Serial ports are disabled. I have 1GB dedicated to the VM. I've tried using the platform=x86pc switch, and it still crashes out. Anyone else try this, or know of a way to get it to work, or what my problem is?

Reanimation_LP
Error description from Mac OS X. I get the box that says "Due to an error, Mac OS X cannot install", and it has Save Log, View Log, Restart, and Shutdown at the bottom as options. PLATFORM=X86PC and just regular booting dumps me there. Same with -S, and -V

Reanimation_LP
You can't use any version other than 6 Beta under Windows Vista. Wont install, and it gives me an error box from Vista saying "It aint gonna work buddy" I really like Vista, and I'd hate to have to go back to Windows XP. Reanimation_LP
I have a Radeon X1950 Pro card, and VMWare 5.5.3 hangs my PC when I try to load it from Vista.
LinkFreak
Well it looks more like a bug in the installer (JaS Installer) or it could be a VMware bug . Your best bet is to wait till 6 if final or a new version of Mac OS X (which will be 10.4.9) to go online.
