  1. Hey JaS. I'm grabbing this off the bay. I will seed, dont worry. I'm hoping your release will work on my Dell. Kaly says his works on SSE2, but it restarts right after loading the kernel, and everyones having this problem, and no one knows why.
  2. I have the same exact problem on mine. I dont know of any solution either. It would be nice if Kaly would chime in on this. I have an Optiplex GX270. The only thing I can think of is its the PC_EFI crashing it. I've tried platform=x86pc, which disables the ACPI, still crashes.
  3. New Kalyway 10.5.2 Release!

For anyone looking to run this on a Northwood P4 based system, you're wasting your time. It crashes right after it loads the ToH kernel and reboots. Constantly. It's kinda frustrating how its marked SSE2 but it doesnt work on SSE2.
  4. Doesnt work for me. Dell Optiplex GX270 - FX5200 - 2.8 GHz SSE2 Northwood P4 HT (HT Disabled) - 1GB DDR SDRAM - 80GB IDE - IDE DVD-ROM Reboots right after it says ToH Kinda frustrating as both the 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 releases said SSE2, but both reboot at this same exact point. And I've tried multiple computers.
  5. Mac Keyboard on PC

Err.. Theres gotta be something wrong with the keyboard if the F keys arent working. The Eject key doesnt work with the default XP drivers, but the volume keys do.
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813157115 I'm looking to get that board, a E4500, and 2GB of DDR2 RAM, to replace my aging SSE2 based P4 board in my main PC. I'm also interesting in running Leopard. :3 Out of curiousity, has anyone used this board? Gotten any results from it?
  7. Best Computer Cases

Antec 900 FTW. Those Dracula cases are junk. Pretty much all of em are made by the same company. Ugly design, cheap flimsy plastic, craptastic metal material. My sisters boyfriend had the one that looks like an alien, and it kept shorting out his computers mainboard. Not to mention the door broke a week after building it.
  8. Unlocking a MBP

Err. This is a simple one. The alienware version of the card has 512MB. The ones Apple ships in the MBP only have 128MB or 256MB, depending on which model you bought. Theres no ktext to unlock what isnt there.
  9. Is this Processor compatible with Leopard?

It'll work, but depending on your system, you may have tons of crashes.
  10. What would YOU do with $75,000 ?

    Probably go to Japan.
  11. Heres why your Mac Mini disc wont work. Thats a DVD disc. The iMac has a CD drive.
  12. Uphuck 1.3 Success Thread

Uphuck, WOW man, keep up the superb work. Works beautifully on this setup, except for ethernet, but thats probably the card itself is bad (really old junky card) Intel Pentium4 HT 2.8 GHz (Sees both logical cores, SSE2) Acer/MSI MS-6772 Mainboard (Doesnt work with built-on ethernet, sound works great, dunno about SATA) eVGA nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128MB VGA/TV-out only AGP8X, QE/CI enabled via Titan. FAST, all resolutions on monitor supported. Adaptec 3-port Firewire 400 PCI Card, works out of the box. DVD-ROM works, CD-RW unsupported, but is fixed using PatchBurn. 40GB Maxtor HDD works beautifully, floppy drive = no go, of course. XD Everything is running smoothly. I'm gonna fiddle with the ethernet tomorrow or the next day. Gonna go catch some sleep, for work tomorrow. Thanks again uphuck!
  13. [SALE] cMachine

Does it come with the secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices Mr. Sanders?
  14. OSX86 n00b .cdr help...

Depending on how your machine allocates the video, if you have an option, set it for 8 or 16, and it should work. The black screen happens when it auto-allocates, or its set to 1, if I remember right.
  15. OSX86 n00b .cdr help...

Buy a video card. The Intel integrated 845 chipset does that, always. Best bet is a FX5200 for PCI slots.
