Nomade
Hi guys, I have been strugling to get this card to work for quite some times now. Try the irc for help and nothing to solve my problem came out yet. Basically, my system is as follow; Mobo: MSI 7025NMS V1.D 012907 11:01:20 CPU: AMD64 3200+ MEM: 3G DDR 333 Dual Channel, 128-bit Video: PNY Verto GeForce FX 5200 (4.34.20.69.51) 256MB BIOS Setup: HT Frequency: [5x] AGP Frequency: [80] (66-100) CPU VID: [startup] AGP Voltage: [1.50 V] AGP Aperture Size (MB) [256M] (32, 64, 128, 256, 512) AGP 3.0 Speed [Auto] (Auto, 4x, 4x8x) AGP Fast Write [Auto] (Auto, Disabled) AGP Sideband Address [Auto] (Auto, Disabled) Now, I first had an ATI Radeon 9550AS installed and could not get QE/CI to work with either Callisto, Natit, Titan, or any worked. So I bought a AGP FX 5200 from Outpost.com ($79.99) got it shipped to me for another $65. Anyway, put the card in, installed the gf5200 drivers and still no go. Tried Natit, Titan, EFI, MacVidia, and non of them worked. Now, my system won't even boot anymore, except it I put back the ATi, then it boots only if in verbose mode, otherwise blue screen. I have tried AGPGart 2.1 and now 2.2 and it wont show on the console as it boot. I believe it to be a AGP problem, but not sure, and I hope someone could help. Cheers Andre

Nomade
Ok, found one more thing to get me closer to a big smile... Just realized that my "second" monitor was actually the "main" monitor, The driver does not seem recognize which is the primary monitor and the secondary... Normally, the default monitor is the one that is plug in, and if nothing on the second port or monitor turned off this become the "second" monitor. In the case of this driver, well, it force one port to be the main and the other to be the second. I was fortunate to have two VGA monitor connected to find that out. Well, still working on CI/QE at the moment BINGO This was the problem, i guess... Now using Natit Dual_v01 and I have QE/CI on a single monitor ( While with Titan this is monitor A... Anyway it finally worked!!! Thanks to all for your help on the irc and everywhere else Thanks Andre
Painkiller
do you have your monitor plugged in to the dvi plug? I am asking, because i just switched back to osx, installed 10.4.8 (JaS) with the latest natit driver (with installer) on my gf5200 and get black or black shadet screen. I didnt had this with the very first version of this driver. Does the signal is only at the dvi plug now? After i installed the 10.4.8 ( even with a combo 10.4.10) plus the natit thing it boots up normaly. I only see black (kind of). Can i switch back to this vesa driver via console from the installation dvd? Does anybody know this?
