I have teh NVME installed using the nvmehackr kext, and having deleted IONVME form SLE. I am also using a PCIE adapter since the z97 m.2 is slow as hell. I have 2 issues:

1) The device is supposed to be like 2700/1600 but in AJA it scorers about 2000/1300.

2) It does not feel any faster than my older 500/500 sata SSD.

I am more concerned with the second issue. The speeds reported by AJA are still very good so I am more concerned with the fact that it doesnt feel like the 2000/1300 speed, I expected apps to launch instantaneously with no dock bounce, and instant boot up (people said that on windows, it boots to windows immediately after bios screen). Things still take about as long as they did on my SSD to load. Booting into Mac from clover still takes about 10 seconds, launching photoshop still takes about 5 seconds etc. Loading sample library instruments also still takes about the same (10 seconds to load a piano sample that took about 10 seconds before). What could it be? Could my RAM be throttling? Also, something to note is that in AJA, and Blackmagic disk speed test, it shows that it actually takes a while for the NVME to rev up. It starts at about 300/300 and then slowly speeds up, so that it takes about 7 seconds to reach its max speed. If this is actually happening outside of the test, it would explain why it still takes 7 seconds to open something. WTF?
