Hello everyone and greetings from Brazil!

I've installed Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 on my desktop and it's working great!  Now, the only problem I'm having is that the built-in microphone on my Logitech C920 web camera is not recognized by the system.  The only thing that shows up on System Preferences -->  Sound is: Microphone (Pink Rear).   The camera works great out of the box, but no microphone...  The camera is connected to one of my USB 3.0 ports.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?

My system configuration is:

Motherboard Gigabyte G41MT-S2P

8 gigabytes of RAM

Video nVidia GeForce 9500 GT (1024 MBytes)

Two SATA HDs

Mac OS X 10.11.5 with Clover

I appreciate your help and thank you very much for your time and expertise!

Jay Cee :)

Hi there!  No I haven't applied any patches yet.  But I will try.  Thanks for the tip and I'll let you know if it works.  :)

ON SECOND THOUGHT..  I'm afraid I'm gonna mess up my system if I apply any patches and will have to do a re-install...  :/

You're right...  By the way, I've found the patched kext and applied it, but it did not solve the issue, so I decided to unplug the webcam from the USB 3 port and plug it into the USB 2 port and it worked!!!  Now I get to use the internal camera's mic but because it's now plugged into USB 2 the video is a bit lagged, so I want to make it work on USB 3.0...
