iNic Posted January 21, 2016 Share Posted January 21, 2016 I installed 10.10.5 using clover 3330 for postinstall on my new asus x99-a/usb-3.1 build. Install usb created using my El Cap Retina MBP 15. The installation is on 850 evo sata ssd. For a couple of days, everything worked and I was able to boot from the clover bootloader. Clover picked iMac14,2 smbios def, which seemed to work. Then all of a sudden Yosemite refuses to boot from the internal sata port. Surprisingly, I found out that booting the same ssd from an external usb 3 to sata 3 adapter works! (Yosemite works ok as long as I add dev-kept-mode=1 to the boot-args) What am I missing?
