HI, i have the i7-4790k and i'm using the Intel HD 4600 too. I'm using thru DVI and i've installed the niresh release of Yosemite 10.10.1

this is what you need to add to the org.chameleon.Boot.plist

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1024x768x32</string>
<key>IGPEnabler</key>
<string>y</string>

Its much more clean for bugs like yours. It helps if you install it with clover and the mac osx app from apple. Look here for "clean" install. Here for distro information. And here how to fix HD 4600 : https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/graphics/graphics_Rename-GFX0.txt. It would be easier for you to deactivate HD 4600 in the BIOS rather than patching around with no result.

Dude What are you talking about? I don't have any problem, mine works great. I was just helping the OP with some suggestions since nobody replayed...
