chriz74 Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 I got an Asus X301A, there is one usb3 port which is attached to he HSP1 port, there are no other usb3 ports. I tried everything but the situation is that I have to disable USB3 from bios or the machine will freeze during boot, under yosemite the machine started but as soon as an usb3 device was plugged the machine would instantly freeze and only way was to hold power down and restart the machine. This controller should work natively but for some reason it's not. I tried to boot in single user verbose mode, this is where it stops.
