El Capitan will need more research since the USB Multiplex patch will not work like it did before. The Nvidia card will not work, it has to be disabled, and can be done by a DSDT edit. The wifi card can be replaced, but will not work, i tried various cards from different vendors, all where blocked by the bios, and did not work in either OS X, Windows or Linux. Ended up using a USB dongle with an Atheros chipset.
