JustAnotherPUser
Hello, i just installed a brand new GTX 980 Ti i downloaded the last nvidia web driver 346.01.03f01 and also added the nvda_drv=1 am running on Yosemite 10.10.4 and tried serval SmBios such as the 3,1 Mac Pro the 5,1 the Imac 14,2 and the imac 15,1 who worked perfectly before on my hd 4600. Well here is my complete config Asus Maximus Vii Formula i7 4790K 16gb Ram GTX 980 Ti Yosemite 10.10.4 using Clover the web driver is not selected even when i selected my self and reboot its goes to the os x default driver and in the startup i got black screen and reboot of my computer. even with changing my smbios its not working the only way for me to get it work is by launching kext utility repair permission and rebuild cache then i select web driver in nvidia panel and reboot its work but i have to do every time i want to boot with my 980 Ti that very annoying ! Can someone help me please ..
styrian
Hello! If you want to change your gfx, just rebooting by ignoring caches, should do the trick. Have fun.
JustAnotherPUser
can you explain i didn't get it hahaha =p you mean i should do it every time ? are there options to check in clover ?
styrian
Hello! At Clover screen select the wished OSX partiton, then press tab and in the appearing menue scroll down to "Boot OSX without caches". Rebooting in this way is only neccessary, if you have switched the gfx drivers before rebooting Have fun.
