10.10.3 on MSI Mpower x99, 5960x, gtx980

I've tried every trick available out there to get my computer to run yosemite. I've tried the ##### method with kernel patching, clover method, and even http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301585-haswell-e-mach-kernel-patch-5960x-5830k-and-5820k-yosemite/page-10?do=findComment&comment=2077851 with all possible combinations of using the kexts in the zip file and none of them have been working for me.

I've also tried every permutation of the following boot flags: -x -f -v npci=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 nv_disable=1.

Any help would really be appreciated as the virtual mac in VirtualBox leaves a lot to be desired.

My Setup:

MSI Mpower x99

Octacore 5960x

Single EVGA GTX980

16GB ddr4-2400 (2*8gb)

Edit:

Can't believe I forgot to say but I get stuck on [pci configuration begin]. If I replace the 2 kexts with the one from the link above I get stuck at com.apple.xpc bootlooping.

keep using the said 2 kexts with GraphicsEnabler=No nv_disable=1 in Chameleon or disable Nvidia injection & nv_disable=1 in Clover

Post a pic of that xp.bootloop if possible.

Thanks for your suggestion. To take the screenshot I left the 2 kexts as you suggested and it looks like my chameleon plist already has graphics enabler = no.

There's my chameleon boot plist on the ##### flash drive. nv_disable isn't in there so I add it manually every attempted boot. I followed a guide on how to install yosemite in virtualbox which also produced the same com.apple.xpc errors but pretty quickly made it to the gui installer.

Hello,

I'm facing the same issue, I've tried 3 motherboards Asus Rampage V extreme, Gigabyte GA-X99-UD5 WIFI GA-X99-UD4, on all using the 5960x.

Tried everything (using #####, using clover, using niresh, cloning other macs, using any bootflag that i could find) I get stucked at PCI configuration beging.

I have a lot of components at my disposal, so if anyone wants I can make a lot of test.

So if there is anyone out there who thinks he can help us, I will be more that happy to do any test necessary in order to solve this issue (install osx yosemite on haswell-e motherboards)

Regards and thanks in advance
