GA-P35-S3G booting issue

Hi Experts,

 

I'm running OS X 10.10.1 on following hardware:

• Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
• 4GB DDR2 800 
• GA-P35-S3G
• GeForce GTX 650

Mackintosh got installed without any issues, all devises seems to be detected and working as expected (audio, graphics, usb etc).

 

But get stuck during normal restart, screenshot attached. However, entering single user mode (-s) and then firing fsck -fy command and reboot will boot back into the system. 

 

Sounds strange, but I've tried several times and this method (single user > fsck > reboot) works always. 

 

I'm having following parameters in org.chameleon.Boot.plist, and also added nVidia web drivers along with ALC662, AppleHDA, HDAEnabler kexts to get the audio working properly.

Could anyone guide me to a solution to boot directly, please?

Did you try GraphicsEnabler=No and no nvda_drv=0 ?

Yes tried different combinations of above, but still the same issue.

 

One thing I've noticed is, system comes back if I go for restart, whenever a shutdown happens, the next boot will get stuck. Thats the reason single user mode and then reboot works.

 

Also, system won't wakeup if it goes to sleep mode.

Ok, some improvements made. Tested with GA-P35-DS3R DSDT and boot stuck and sleep issues have been disappeared.

But with this DSDT, network doesn't work, the adapter cannot connect with DHCP. (I'm using an add-on card, built-in has some issues.)

 

I've tested with GA-P35-DS3R DSDT because I cannot find one for GA-P35-S3G.

Attached dimpled DSDT, is there a way I can push to use the older network driver?

 

Also, the front mic jack is not working, stereo works.
