Hey guys!

I have succesfully installed Yosemite and booted also.

But now i got a few problem wich i cant figure out.

Lets start with a short list;

- Graphics is not working (My 4600 isnt and also my GTX970 isnt)

What have i tried to fix this issue? I tried installing the official nvidia driver and then rebooting with nvda_drv=1 wich is simply reboots my PC and does nothing

I also booted with graphicsenabler=yes but also it does the same thing, it reboots and does nothing.

- Network is not working

I put a network kext in the clover kext folder wich coresponded with my network chip.

I think those are the problem for now, i dont know any more yet.

My system looks like this:

- I5 4670

- Asus GTX 970 strix

- Gigabyte G.1 Sniper B5

Hope anyone can help me with this situation.

Sincerely,

Luuk

What SMBios have you set for the Nvidia drivers?  This matters as if you downloaded them from the Nvidia site they are only for a specific set of hardware, Macpro3,1 4,1 and 5,1 i think ...

You would need to change them if your not running this type of hardware.

What i had to do to fix this as i run Macmini6,2 or iMac13,2

download drivers

Launch terminal

cd Download

pkgutil —expand WebDriver-343.01.02b02.pkg  Nvidia

cd Nvidia

vi Distribution  (or use whatever edit tool your happy with)

find the lines that look like

var system_models = ["iMac13,2", "Macmini6,2", "MacPro6,1"];

change to suit your SMBios type (those are the 3 i been playing with)

and save file

cd ..   (to move back up a level out of Nvidia folder)

pkgutil —flatten Nvidia WebDriver-343.01.02b02-modded.pkg

and install the new modded package you made..

You can probably also do this by removing the check lines at the top of the Distribution script but i chose not to ...

EDIT -- hmm dumb but i just realized if they installed you have them modded already ... doh !

Don't use nvidia web drivers until the system is stable. Stay with nv_disable=1 for now. Also disable your onboard Intel graphics in the bios. Use Kext Dev mode flag to help your network driver load. Use clover configurator to get the correct config for your chipset.

You asked for help. We try to help but you argue with the advice offered without even trying it.

Huh? I tried the Clover configurator.. but now it wont even boot.

I got a error with a bluetooth thingy.

Im a complete beginner with clover you know.
