Either restart your iPhone or try to 'Turn on' Bluetooth on your iPhone. ....you can check USB connections also or another USB cables.

As I think from the specification mentioned above, you have a a low-end model of iMac G4. You can boot from an external BluRay player to install OS X 10.5. Firstly, boot into OpenFirmware. Now boot PPC by pressing Apple button and options key together. Type: dev / ls once you see the USB references then go ahead by giving the path of external drive and install OS X.

If you are an expert then have you ever tried a bootable CD/DVD to boot a non booting Mac. Moreover, if few options like Use Time Machine and Install New OS X etc.(mentioned above in post) then make a successful copy of entire Mac and install new OS X again. Hope it will help you.

Apart form the above mentioned features, one another thing, what I saw is the 'Updates' Tab after installing OS X Yosemite. The only place is the App Store (launched after clicking on Apple menu from the left side and click 'About this Mac'). As I think that the latest iPhoto (9.5) requires OSX 10.9 version will be helpful to get the images perfect.
