_ML64
Hello Worked on my Google skillz, still can't find anything on this regard (maybe there's something on olarila but somehow my ISP blocks that site) So, basically what happened is: 1. Boot into Clover on the USB stick 2. Boot Install OSX Yosemite with verbose output 3. Same ol' texty boot screen 4. The laptop screen went completely blank (for this I mean 0% backlight, not a "black" on screen) 5. Tried plugging in HDMI, and yes, while something showed up on the external monitor, it's severely distorted. Laptop specs: - Samsung NP350V4X-S0CTH - i5-3210M - Intel HD 4000 - ATI HD7670M aka renamed HD6840M - 120GB INTEL 520 SSD Clover config: - everything default except - smbios MBP 8,2 - tried removing "Add HDMI" in DSDT autopatch Any help would be appreciated! vusun123
Wrong smbios, yours is MBP 9,2 not 8,2. Also you need to put your ig-platform-id to match your screen resolution, put 0x01660003 if you have 1366x768 resolution or 0x01660004 if you have 1600x900+ resolution
mnfesq
My screen resolution is 1920x1080. My ig-platform-id=0x1660004. Also, if you use Clover Configurator to edit your config.plist, check the boxes for load VBios and Inject Intel. BTW, I use the MacBookPro9,2 SMBIOS and it works great. The 10,1 and 10,2 SMBIOS will work too.
