I've tried everything besides calling them; however I'm not from the U.S. We can talk over @ Skype so you can supply them the Serial Number or whatever they need. PM me if you can -- I'll be very glad! Thanks. To fix iMessage you can simply find a real mac serial number that is the same model as your SMbios. When calling AppleCare, they will only check the warranty, even if it expired, they will not charge you for anything because you are simply call AppleCare for fixing your ID and make it work. Remember, you call AppleCare if you are having issue with iMessage and it tells you to call AppleCare with Customer Code. I think I've seen an article or post about this method before...
