dreadkopp
Aloha community, my hack uses a Sapphire Pure Black X58 Mmtherboard which has onboard bluetooth. The bluetooth works fine with the original IOBluetoothFamily but just with my mouse and keyboard. when i connect my apple magic trackpad i can just use one- and two-finger gestures/clicks. Whenever i try to use three- or four-finger gestures the cursor freezes an there is no input from the trackpad for ~5 seconds. if there is not just the trackpad connected but also the mouse three- and four-finger gestures work, but only very laggish. I read that the problem is due to the Bluetooth-controller, so i bought a usb-dongle which works fine with my macbook and the trackpad. The problem is that i cannot use the dongle due to the fact that i cannot disable the builtin-Bluetooth. Using the BluetoothFirmwareUploader: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2925-bluetooth-firmware-uploader/ i should be able to at least disable the Bluetooth to se the stick, but i cannot get it to work. ("Firmware allready in RAM, aborting") Any ideas how to fix my problem? Cheers!

dreadkopp
My "fix" was to get a working usbbluetooth dongle. Then Setting up a Virtual machine Using virtualbox/paralels/VMware and assigning the ar3011 to the vm. Then You can connect the Second dongle which now will be recognized. You can shutdown the vm nie. The Second dongle will be working Even After reboot since all your devices are paired to it. Remember to unpair your devices from the ar3011 before.
