ardoreal
I'm gonna guess that you've got either a Haswell or Ivy Bridge based system. If anyone else has any suggestions I have the same problem and would love any fix that may have gone un-noticed.

ardoreal
It's not HDCP, it's nothing at all, whatsoever, to do with HDCP. If it was HDCP there would be an HDCP error, the prevailing theory noted in other forums is rather DPCP or some function Apple has included to specifically stop Hacks from being able to play DRM encoded movies from iTunes. It's all guesswork, for all we know, and developers haven't really expressed an interest in developing a fix as far as I can tell. It's perplexing given the high quality of engineering and development that's gone into things like Clover, Chameleon, and the plethora of kexts patched and developed by some highly talented individuals that's taken OSx86 as far as it has come. To see this issue either ignored or unsolvable (can't tell which) is confusing.
